However, Geni will spam your familymembers email accounts using your name until your relatives validates their email accounts and sign up to change the "notification" setting and make the spamming stop. That's how they got 5 million users in 5 month!! 4.9 gave in to nuisance spam!! Geni privacy statement says “We will not spam you or your relatives.
